1. Who we are

Solar Ledger ("we", "us") publishes editorial content about photovoltaics at askas5.lovable.app. For any privacy question, contact hello@askas5.lovable.app or use the contact form.

2. Data we collect

• Newsletter signups. Your email address, stored only to send the weekly brief.
• Contact form submissions. Name, email address, optional subject and your message, stored so we can reply.
• Technical data. Standard server and analytics data such as IP address, browser type, referring page and pages viewed.

We do not require an account to read the site, and we do not knowingly collect data from children under 16.

3. Why we process it

• To deliver the newsletter you asked for (consent).
• To answer your message (legitimate interest).
• To measure traffic and keep the site fast and secure (legitimate interest).
• To show advertising (consent, where required).

4. Cookies and advertising

Third-party vendors, including Google, use cookies to serve ads based on your prior visits to this or other websites. Google's use of advertising cookies enables it and its partners to serve ads to you based on your visit to our site and/or other sites on the Internet.

Newsletter addresses are kept until you unsubscribe. Contact messages are kept for up to 24 months. Aggregate analytics data is retained in the form provided by the analytics vendor.

7. Your rights

If you are in the EEA or UK you may request access to, correction of, or deletion of your personal data, object to processing, or withdraw consent at any time. Email hello@askas5.lovable.app and we will respond within 30 days. You may also complain to your local data protection authority.

8. Security

Data is stored on managed infrastructure with encryption in transit, access controls and row-level database policies. No system is perfectly secure, so please do not send sensitive personal information through the contact form.

9. Changes

We will update this page when our practices change and revise the date at the top. Material changes will be announced in the newsletter.
